From Facebook yesterday: "Pouring the last floor today! Next up? Topping out the building."

From HWY 71, the tower at its final height (unless "topping it out" adds any significant height) appears to stand about two stories taller than H&R Block. It really seems to add a nice sense of density visually looking NW from 71. Without it there, the skyline looked pretty one dimensional, so it does appear to add a nice effect of layering another building in front of City Center Square from that perspective.

The ceiling of floor 25 remains and then the roof equipment such as the elevator room and cooling equipment. You can see the columns in the photo.

The renderings show an extension of the curtain wall above the 25th floor on the south end supporting the "One Light" signage.

I just went out of my way to look this morning and yep it is noticeable from the east by a good 2-3 stories.

The roof is about done! Today there was a volleyball game being played on the Green Roof next door. It was so great to see something like that going on.

In this tweet there is a picture of one light. It's not topped out yet in the picture but it's close to the height of the hrblock tower.

Bad angle to see the height, because One Light will be 25% taller

291 feet vs 236 feet.

HRB is built slightly uphill which is why the difference looks closer

hopefully someone's got a shot where we can see the difference.

Just drive down HWY 71 headed north towards downtown. It is obviously taller than HRB, by at a couple of stories at this point.

Thanks but I'm no longer in KC but will make sure to go with your recommendation when I'm back home.

I was eating lunch up there and saw that game, too! The ball came close to the edge once, but the planted edges were good at stopping the bounce.

Now a few days ago there was a baseball game up there and they did knock one off the edge. Not a good idea!!
