I'm not "blaming" pedestrians, I'm just stating what I see happen during the 50+ hours I spend down here every week and in the evenings as I walk to eat at Yard House, BRGR etc. I see idiots take their sweet time crossing and ignoring signal lights as the streetcar sits there waiting for them to cross.

I'll put pedestrians at like 10th of the list of things delaying streetcar and the only one of 10 that is an overall positive.

Kind of the place, because I'm kind of the one who can get something done about it. This is 100% in my wheelhouse so to speak. None the less, I understand if you're not wanting to put it out there. As someone who is hands on with those types of things, including weekly meetings with the 3rd party parking and valet management company, I'd like to hear the complaints.

I would be happy if people would stop dropping their significant others off in front of HnR Block on Main and then decide to roll down the passenger window to have a quick chat/goodbye/have a great day bullshit talk. [-o<

Yes! Same issue on the walnut side with people dropping off in the crosswalk.

It includes a 29 story apartment tower, an office building (don't know if there is anything official, but renderings look like a 9 story building with ground floor retail), an 8 story 216-room hotel, plus another 2 story retail/entertainment building.

I live in STL and I can say that the Tower is 29 floors, the Office Building is anchored by PWC and will be 10 floors tall (6 parking, 4 office). There will be an 8 Floor Loews Hotel and a 3 Floor retail building anchored by One Life Fitness. $260 Million is a hefty price tag and if that is what STL is getting, and $130 Million of it is going towards the Residential Tower, then I expect Three Light to be 30 floors just like the tower in STL.

If it is going to council this week then that is today (Thursday). So...TBD?

No. i think it is just being introduced this week(?) Which just means that the ordinance will be filed and listed on the full council's docket as "first readings" today and then referred to committee for discussion next week (or some later time). So, theoretically a rendering may be available (or description at least) later today when the full council's docket is posted on the clerks website.

Oh, sorry, that's St. Louis. Really starting to look like they hired an architect to design the same building over and over with slightly different shapes

We must start a petition initiative to have the renderings released.

They're gonna build a wall of glass across the state and make Mexico, Missouri pay for it.

No rendering. Just an ordinance authorizing the city to appropriate funds that the city is obligated to contribute to the project ($17.5 million).

Delays on delays, but there should be a few announcements next week.
