There are plenty of ballparks in non urban areas (at least they are surrounded by parking lots): LA Dodgers, LA Angels, Texas Rangers, Milwaukee Brewers, Philadelphia Phillies, Florida Marlins, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Washington Nationals (until they get their new ballpark), Oakland A's, Chicago White Sox, and Turner Field in Atlanta is close to downtown but its still pretty isolated.

RFK is in an urban location, although there is not development surrounding the area.
