Discussion about new sports facilities in Kansas City
There are plenty of ballparks in non urban areas (at least they are surrounded by parking lots): LA Dodgers, LA Angels, Texas Rangers, Milwaukee Brewers, Philadelphia Phillies, Florida Marlins, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Washington Nationals (until they get their new ballpark), Oakland A's, Chicago White Sox, and Turner Field in Atlanta is close to downtown but its still pretty isolated.bahua wrote: KC would definitely be one of those, but I don't think that's what Michael's talking about. I think he's referring life in the surrounding area. With the exception of Comiskey Park, I'd say that just about all of them are in vital urban environments.
