At 6:09AM this morning the votes at Ward 1, Precinct 2 were running 100% "No" to both questions.

(I was the first voter to arrive, they were not set up and ready yet and had to scramble to get me a ballot.)

I've done what I can do.  NO to both.  Pretty good turn out where I vote in Brookside.

As if KC isn't often considered a laughing stock by the rest of the country anyway, we've got the opp to vote on somehting like this and it appears voter turnout might be at an all time low.  NICE.  I've never been really on board with the notion of the teams leaving, but it suddenly becomes a pretty easy sales pitch for LA to offer the Chiefs a near BILLION dollars, plus notoriety as THE MOST FIERCE IN STATE RIVALRY OF ALL SPORTS...LA Chiefs vs Oakland Raiders.

Nice....is anyone in KC making a large bow for the gift wrapping we're doing today.

Most passionate fans my azzzzzzz................freaking GO VOTE (either way)...this is embarassing.

Someone involved with the campaign told me the last polling numbers showed a 51 - 49 support for #1 and a little higher support on #2. Campaigns don't poll any closer to the election than 5 or 6 days out so numbers could have changed... but the SOS folks believe they will barely pass.

Yes, it is embarrassing.  All weekend long, I've heard how Jackson County was expect RECORD turn-out...as high as 50%!!!  That's not too bad for a Non-Presidential election, but KMBZ said it was only about 20% so far.   What the heck?  There seem to be a lot of passionate people on both sides, so I thought for sure there would be more people voting today.

In any event, maybe it will get busier later on today, when I will vote...

I voted around 8:30 this morning at 80th and Ward Parkway.  It was a tiny place and I doubt many people are assigned to vote there, but there were two others there that I saw the entire time.

No wait at Northfleet elementary. But there was a steady stream of voters in and out. I voted at 7am.

Typically I see the bigest turnout after work.
