Black chamber opposes stadium tax
The Black Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City Inc. on Friday called for voters to reject a sales tax that would finance renovations to Arrowhead and Kauffman stadiums.
In a written statement, the chamber's board faulted the stadium proposal because it relies on sales tax for the renovations, saying, "... we would have preferred a higher contribution to the renovation projects from the teams, which could have reduced the overall tax impact on moderate and low-income families."

Don't equate this weak organization to Freedon, Inc.
They are just mad because the pro-stadium people wouldn't line their pockets with excess funds to campaign with.
