Without a doubt. I'm frankly shocked the SOS people aren't bringing this up.

Maybe they'll throw us a bone on one final four, but that's it.  Too many other locations are much more appealing.  Shuttle busses are not attractive to attendees, especially when they can avoid them at other locations.

What is the transportation situation like in Indy? NOLA's mass transit sucks and they host it quite often. I remember I took a shuttle bus to the Super Dome in 2003.

Yeah but you can pretty easily walk to most anywhere a tourist would want to go in NOLA.

Frankly I think we have just as good of a chance of getting the final four at Sprint as TSC.  In fact even with a roof, I wouldn't take it for granted that the NCAA would choose to stick it out at TSC over Sprint.

Final four is not going to Sprint or any 18k seat arena (for the 50 billionth time ;))

Yes.
Though we could have a retractable roof over Arrowhead only for half the cost of the rolling roof, and still get the Final 4.

final fours will never again go to traditional arenas. when they can get 50-80k in domed stadiums, there is no point in going back.

This all depends on whether or not the rolling roof could create a climate controlled environment (wasn't this discussed somewhere else?).  If so, the answer if of course we would get the final four.  KC has a BIG history with the NCAA that will not be easily forgotten by either party.  We are unequivocally the best host for the big XII tourney and all the NCAA events we have held have gone on very well including the 1988 Final Four.  Better here than Indie.

Come on the NCAA didn't move to Indy for nothing.  They have something against KC.  We'll never see another Final 4 even with a rolling roof.
Calling a spade a spade.

Exactly what I was thinking.  I don't think the NCAA is too particularly enamored with Kansas City anymore.

If that is the case why are not all of the Final Fours in Indy?
I may be right.  I may be wrong.  But there is a lot of gray area in-between.

the ncaa bailed on kc when the big 8 bailed on kc too. that time ( 90's ) was when dtkc seemed to be at its lowest, although, things are looking up now!!

i have always heard kc has hosted more final fours then anywhere, does anyone know if this is true??

A simple search usually turns up the answer to a simple question.

You have plenty of time.  Skip a couple of your lame ass stadium rants and find the info yourself.
