Post by LenexatoKCMO »

The biz journal is running a poll on the stadium ballot issue.  http://www.bizjournals.com/kansascity/p ... oll_id=642

After my vote, the no side was sitting at 63%.

busy day, making desserts for the weekend.

generally do not vote in kc star polls, they do not have controls like forum polls, to inhibit you from voting multiple times, very inaccuarte, not trusted like reuters, or gallp.

funny thing, the royals website is the same, one poll a month ago, how will our royals do, the lead choice by far and away was win the central. so, you know, stuffing the ballot box is EASY with local po dunk polls. intresting, how the forum polls get controlled, and it is an individual run forum, and the star, which, also requires sign in, is not controlled.

The comments that people can post with their votes are rather interesting.  The yes comments are very sparse and many not too well thought out.  With David Glass saying that he can't find any Royals fans that want to go downtown, there seems to be a curiously large amount of biz journal readers willing to vocalize just that.  Very curious indeed.

David Glass lives in Bentonville.  He doesn't talk to anyone in KC other than the JaCo movers & shakers.  His people tell him what he wants to hear.

^^^

I was reading those just a bit ago and noticed the same thing.

Btw, I just checked the KSHB poll and it's at 67% NO to 31.3% YES (1.7% unsure).

I am sure the TSC fanatics will get a little bit of a bounce in a week or so when, in an elaborately orchastrated bit of theater, the NFL announces a "firm" date on when we will get our super bowl.  Beyond that, this thing is going down in flames fast.

New poll:

SURVEY QUESTION: Is the threat that the Royals and Chiefs will leave town absent stadium renovations real or a bluff?

These posters are far more intelligent than the average Jacko voter, and probably half live in JoCo or Platte.

This thing is going to be tight, bank on it.
