Jackson County Exec candidate Mike Sanders will be on 810 tonight at 5pm to talk about the stadium.

Sounds like Sanders is giving tepid support for the renovations, but leaves the door wide open for any kind of Plan B. Sounds like a politician in not really committing to anything.

I only caught the call-in part.  But it seemed like he's just saying what people want to hear...just pretty stuff ("A Superbowl would be tremendous!").  Retch.  No real challenge from the callers.

And he did promote the Legislature.  I understand he'd have to work with the Legislature and doesn't want to piss them off, but it's ok to call it what it is--a joke.  C'mon, Sanders--time to put on the waders and get busy.
