from prime buzz:
Noon [Tuesday]: Members of the Kansas City Council and their staffs will conduct a walking challenge downtown "to highlight the availability and convenience of downtown parking to the Sprint Center." The walkers will begin at several places and conclude at 13th and Grand in front of the Sprint Center. They expect all walkers to reach 13th and Grand, where a news conference will be held, within 10 minutes.

Collison sums up parking options:  There’s plenty of parking available downtown

I may try the garage next to the TWA building, or the Town Pavilion. Are the spaces open directly behind the PnL? If so, then if I get off work soon enough thats where I will park. If all else fails then I will park at Crown Center and max it up that way.

if i were to go to an event at the SC, i'd just park in one of the many spaces on the street in the Crossroads and then walk 5 blocks.  they are free, you don't have to wait in line for 30 minutes to exit, and i bet that a lot of SC patrons wouldn't even try to do this.

Good idea. I may try that first. I just don't want to have to worry about droping money into a meter every hour or so.

as much info and columns that have been written on every possible media source...people that complain about parking are going to have to make quite a case for me to think they aren't complete morons.

When P&L opens, if you are that worried about parking, freaking valet your sled.
