I can't wait until the Sprint Center website is launched in a couple weeks. They said they will have a poll on it that will help determine what the general public wants.

I broke the tie with my vote, and NBA now has 29 and NHL has 28. I personally think either would be awesome, though basketball would draw more to kids around here who would drag their parents to the games.

The Kansas City Star reported today that their polling is 50/50 also.

...as well as *probably* be supported by the whole state, not just the KC area.

That is what I'm wondering.  Maybe they're MUCH closer to getting an NHL team over an NBA team.

I would assume they would be closer to landing a deal with the NHL since there are so many teams looking to relocate within the next year or two.

I'm betting it's a software bug with the website.  I wouldn't read too much in to it.
