I took my kids to this a couple weeks ago at the Scottish Rite Temple. I have to say I was pretty impressed with it. I am not a huge wrestling fan but the quality of wrestling was really good, the story lines were pretty decent. I was actually getting into it when they did some cool flips out of the ring or a guy i wanted to win won.
The person who started it sold an internet company for like 130 million and he started this wrestling league as his next project so I believe he is a good businessman, the growth seems pretty decent, they are even airing the NWL on 38 the spot late night on saturdays at 11pm in like 4 markets. Would be pretty cool to see this thing grow nationwide.
Major Baisden, the owner of NWL seems like a quality asset/business person for the City, he also owns Tannin Wine bar and owns the buildings at 1517 and 1519 Main

Re: NWL Wrestling
Also, the Scottish Rite Temple is a beautiful building. They also do events at the Abdallah Shrine Temple in Overland Park. If this thing grows they will most likely move to Municipal or even Sprint Center. Tickets are super affordable 10-20 bucks
