Re: KC getting a
They will be called the Kansas City Majestics. They will be part of the Women's Blue Chip Basketball League. Their season starts in May. Not sure where they will play, but I think it's safe to say it won't be Sprint Center.

Unless it comes with an NBA team, I'll pass.
Connecticut and Seattle are the only WNBA cities without an NBA team. And Seattle had one when they were formed. The popularity of Uconn women's basketball explains the Connecticut team. What possible reason could there be for a WNBA team here without a men's team to support it?

I think the whole Tulsa WNBA thing came about because
1. Tulsa had a new basketball arena downtown even though this league should be playing in Independence Event Center type places
2. The Success of the Thunder
Tulsa once had a NBDL team but they moved to OKC. I think once the Thunder start losing a bunch the Honeymoon in OKC and oklahoma is over for basketball.
