NCAA announced site selection for championships through 2022. KC only got one men's D1 basketball tournament - a regional in 2019, but appears to be a trend of really spreading things out more...Wichita, Tulsa and Des Moines back in the rotation on a regular basis now.

The D2 football championships will return to Children's Mercy Park through 2021.

Yeah, with the success of mid-majors that makes sense.

I kind of wish they would move the Final Four out of the Mega Stadiums. Did you see the story after the championship game. The UNC side couldn't even fill its student section so they gave ASU students free tickets to sit in those seats and cheer for UNC.
