K-State, Mizzou, North Carolina, and Northwestern are the expected teams for 2015.

Its now called the Hall of Fame Classic but it seems the like product is getting worse by the year and could see this tournament going away. This year and last year the games are in the afternoon Weds and Thurs (Thanksgiving) broadcast on CBS sports Network. In previous years it was always at night on Broadcast on ESPN Tues and weds. Creighton is the only decent team this year and they should be able to draw a crowd.

Since this is about honoring college hall of fame players it would almost be better to host some kind of local premium game in middle of December over one day then force feed a tournament in an already busy tournament week. Mizzou vs Creighton on a Sat in Dec is a much better draw.

Make it MU vs KU in the t mobile. Half of the students from both schools are already back for the holiday anyway

KU will never do that, they are always in some kind of big tournament in Hawaii or Bahamas

This event just needs to go away during thanksgiving break

KU has been in the CBE plenty of times, but yes it'll likely remain infrequent. Field past two years has been rough. Not sure of Mizzou, but Tang (K-State) has stated he plans to travel to further (tropical) tournaments in this window (he did grow up in USVI).
