So, I've already helped Baylor fans find places to park.

And, I've helped some very confused Texas Tech fans in the Plaza find good places to eat. They said they couldn't find the Sprint Center anywhere! They thought the Plaza was Downtown KC.

Sounds like my parents. Although they aren't from Texas and (as far I know) aren't in town.

Helped some Okie fans out of the west bottoms (had them follow, as I couldn't think of a truly simple instruction to get them from the southwest end of Kemper.

They were stopped and looking at their phone, trying to find how to get downtown on their map app. It was no wonder they were lost as the instructions basically said "go back to Ponca City and start over".

So, how much are tickets going for? I have some extras I'm going to sell and don't want to underprice them.

Couple national reporters tweeted they were impressed at the size of the crowd for a pretty crappy A&M/OU game last night. Sounds like we're off to a good start.

But there might have been more people there if the Sprint Center didn't have broken windows.

WE'RE OFF TO THE WORST START EVER. EVAR!

I am surprised nobody posted or otherwise noted the inevitable where do you park downtown article in the Kansas City Star today. Surprisingly, it's not the panic inducing stuff they've put out in the past and the comments are almost all constructive and supportive of how simple it is to find parking in DT KC.

GREAT DAY!!!!

Fans everywhere, getting along for the most part, businesses packed, exciting games, good weather.

I think we did good today, KC.

Little disappointed KSU and ISU went down early - those fans could have really packed things today. But the weather is great, and I'm sure a lot of those fans will at least stick around to party.

Even after their teams lost, those fans were out and about in downtown all day yesterday. I still got to help several fans with various needs. And I noticed tons of Kansas Citians doing the same. As usual, I think KC does a great job of hosting.

ISU fans aren't going anywhere. Great tournament so far....seems a little less lively than last year for some reason.

I think having fewer teams probably makes a difference. In years past, you had 4 games on the first day, so you'd have those teams' fans at the P&L, PLUS the fans of teams playing the next day. So it seemed like every team was represented down there. With how it's structured now, the only day with 4 games is going to be a little less crowded since 2 teams have already been bounced the night before.

Plenty busy down there today with nothing going on for a long time. Hopefully the tourists are enjoying something unique KC today as well.

So does KU still get a number 1 seed?

If Mizzou wins tonight, do they get a 1 seed?

Seeing as Mizzou finished a full 2 games behind KU in the conference, it would be a travesty if they got a 1 seed over KU. I think these post season tourneys are fun for the fans, but they shouldn't be used to justify seeding in the tournament. Not that I really care whether KU is a 1 or 2 seed. It doesn't make much of a difference. But I do think KU should be in the STL region over Mizzou.

Hardly a travesty. KU had a tournament to win and they did not even get to the finals and they also have a bad loss to Davidson on what was essentially a home court. I think that loss (and the poorer overall record) negates part of that two game edge particularly if Mizzou wins tonight. If Mizzou does win, they've got an equally compelling case for the 1 seed. That's a big IF because Baylor is finally playing up to their potential.
