It's just a shame that the home opener last season sold 16,200 tickets. And this season only sold 13,600. Hopefully if they keep this momentum, we will see the rest of those 16,200 fans

Re: 2007 KC Brigade
Yeah, I guess that would make it kind of difficult. I didn't get to see the game myself so I had no idea. Just caught the highlights and the final score on the news. I will make it to a couple games this year for sure though.KansasCityCraka wrote: How could he be disapointed with Bishops effort...he only held the ball for extra points lol.

Bishop will only play QB if Philyaw gets hurt or we are up by 40 points.Thrillcekr wrote: Yeah, I guess that would make it kind of difficult. I didn't get to see the game myself so I had no idea. Wow, I remember when he was in college, people were arguing who was a better QB - him or Donovan McNabb.KansasCityCraka wrote: Bishop will only play QB if Philyaw gets hurt or we are up by 40 points.

You couldn't watch it on TV, the only station it was on was 97.3
Didn't WB62 televise all the games last year?

I have to say the lack of games on TV for the Brigade this season is a shame. Especially the game vs. Colorado of all teams. HELLO! Wake up!

With the new contract the WB/Metro sports was not allowed to show any brigade games. The only stations allowed to air games are ABC/ESPN and FSN.

Ah yes, less TV exposure, just the way to build interest.

Why didn't FSN pick up more games.
Much better to watch than "Poker Superstars" or "The worst god-damn sports show period"

WHO IN THE HELL WATCHES POKER SUPERSTARS, BESIDES MY FATHER-IN-LAW? HE CAN SIT IN FRONT OF THE TELEVISION ALL DAY LONG, AND WATCH THAT STUFF.
THE BRIGADE DEFINITLY NEED ALL THE PUBLICITY THEY CAN GET. DO THEY HAVE THIR OWN RADIO NETWORK?
AS FOR THE ATTENDANCE, 13600 IS NOT THAT BAD FOR A SEMI-PRO TEAM. ONCE WE BEGIN TO SEE CROWDS UNDER 10000 IS WHEN I WILL BEGIN TO WORRY.

Re: 2007 KC Brigade
My only biff about the attendance was that it was for the opener AND they gave away >400 free tickets. I expected more for the opener. I'd guess around 10-12k for the next few weeks.

The game against Dallas is this Friday night at 7, and Dallas is probably the best team in the league right now. I was looking at ticketmaster, and the first result that came back was: Section 117 Row C
That's not a great sign considering the game is 4 days away.

Well those aren't great seats either. They are behind the tunnel so really you are about 20 rows back from the field and right behind the net and goal post.KansasCityChiefs wrote: The game against Dallas is this Friday night at 7, and Dallas is probably the best team in the league right now. Anyone know how many season ticket holders the Brigade have this year?

Re: 2007 KC Brigade
ouch, was there anybody at the game tonight. The highlights on TV made the arena look empty. I understand they sucked last year, but going from 16k a game to 6k a game is downright scary and really makes me wonder if we really could put 17k per game in from of an NBA or NHL team for more than six months, let alone several years.

I'd guess there were between 7k - 9k. It was a fun game. I'd suppose the KU game affected the attendance.

Re: 2007 KC Brigade
Attendance was announced around 12,500 but the league goes by ticket sales and not who showed up. I would guess 7-8 K were actually there.
They Brigade have started off the season good starting 1-2. Keep in mind they played the 3 best teams in the league to start the season and we have hung with them all. I would predict 7-9 W's this season if we keep playing like this. We should have a good record mid-season as after next weeks bye week we have 4 teams who should be easy/medium to beat.
