indiana dunes national lakeshore

Post by warwickland »

these are a few pictures from a weekend at indiana dunes national lakeshore. i enjoyed the lake michigan beaches so much that im going back next weekend, though further north into michigan. generally all of the best beaches on lake michigan are on the eastern shore, because of prevailing winds. indiana dunes are accessible by the electrified south shore line at two or three stops, which leaves millennium park in downtown chicago (i think). these photos are from the far eastern park of the park at mt. baldy and the nearby beach.

Very nice pics. I like the one where the lake appears to be on fire.
