Lake of the Ozarks help

Post by KCPowercat »

anybody got any info on the lake? My buddy's family has a place around MM 9 and the last time I was down there was at least 10 years ago and we stayed way on the other side MM 47...

anybody got a good website, source that knows the good bars, restaurants, etc. down there..

also I've heard the lake has 2 sides, it looks like MM 9 would be the STL side....have to sport Royals stuff all weekend ;)

http://www.funlake.com is the visitor's bureau web site. Osage Beach has the most stuff like restaurants, bars, outlet mall, etc. And there is always Party Cove http://www.partycovexxx.com/ (NC-17)

I'm sure this is too late, but the best bars/clubs down there are The Clown Topsider Poop Deck and The Horny Toad a.k.a. Jeremiah's in Osage Beach. For some nice sightseeing, go to the Bridal Cave at Thunder Mountain Park and check out the old castle and natural spring in Ha Ha Tonka State Park.

I finally divorced beer and proposed to whiskey, but I occassionally cheat with fine wine.

They are right on the water...as a matter of fact, both have tiki bars on the beach with access via automobile or boat. Both serve food and have live music...the Horny Toad "Jeramiah's" has a dance club with a DJ.
