I've been in the first one, which is at 800 North Michigan Ave., depending on whether you use the hotel's address or the condos' address. My friend owns a condo on the 30th floor. Great views and an easy walk to just about anything you could want.

Here's the kicker: My friend is now selling that condo and buying one on the Plaza.

In 20 years, some of these buildings will be considered extremely ugly. Building up for the sake of building is not the answer, we must build with a sense of place and purpose.

i would love for the riverfront to have some of these residential buildings, along with some entertainment attractions.
