We’re starting pictures from a new (I guess old) trip, to Minnesota, 2015. We’ll start off with a nice neighborhood near where my husband used to live.
As you probably know, Minnesota has many lakes. Here is a shot of one.
And from another view.
We have just arrived at the legendary Mall of America. We won’t be climbing.
There were many rides inside. This one seemed to stretch and twist all around.
Must have been something interesting.
Another view of that wild ride.
Roller coasters are a must.
Hard Rock be everywhere.
Lots to see and do here.
Swing and ride.
Ride and swing.

Re: Minnesota 2015
We’re still at the Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We are greeted.
Anyone can come in to play with Legos.
Even an elevator affords some entertainment.
Gold sprinkles from on high.
Nice place to land.
Many ways to get around.
Grand ceiling.
Where are we?
Caught this odd shot from an escalator.
Not a bad view of the whole thing.
Still there.
Always something fun to do.

We’re still at the Mall of America.
People everywhere.
Water chute ride.
Two characters with two other characters.
Kid ride.
Face painting. Butterfly?
Not sure what this ride was supposed to be
This pig probably helps grill tasty meats.
We’ve left the mall and are visiting a nature center.
There’s a lake in there somewhere.
Sturdy mailbox.
I never heard of a rain garden, but I guess it is a good thing.

Re: Minnesota 2015
Now that we’re in a nature center, we’ll see a lot of flowers.
Thistles have a special kind of beauty.
These blossoms look a little confused.
Bee… careful!
Daisy convention. If you look close, you can see where I duplicated a few flowers to fill in a sparse spot. I have no shame.
No stinger on a moth.
Bursting out all purple.
These flowers think they are fried eggs.
Not exactly a flower, I guess. Still kind of pretty.
A little bedraggled, but nice enough.
It’s as if they are reaching for a higher purpose.
We have come full circle.

Re: Minnesota 2015
I seem to be captivated by these tiny “daisies."
Early wine.
These yellow flowers want to take over.
A bell for woodland creatures.
Demanding attention.
More “bells,” stylized.
Looks like a group of pom pom decorations.
Another orange beauty.
Bug diner.
Teensy flowers.
Baby thistles.
Going to extremes to get that shot.

My son gets an iPhone shot.
Doing a lens blur on the background makes this leaf stand out.
Blossoming up the stalk.
What’s down these stairs?
Arboretum visitor center.
Nice place to rest or eat lunch.
Dreaming of little white flowers.
Flower with knobs.
What the hay?
Notice the bee doing his thing.
Not quite all there.
Giving it a good shot.

Re: Minnesota 2015
Vying for attention.
Susan may be getting competition.
I hope he’s having fun, being the star of the show.
He can always sit here.
“I see you, and I’m not thrilled.”
“I’d rather be flying.”
“Turn the lights out and I’ll wake up!”
I took a picture of this picture on the wall at an angle, so I had to stretch it out to fit what appeared to be normal, to me, anyway.
You might be surprised if you just look up.
And again.
Cherries, I presume.
Probably not edible.

Re: Minnesota 2015
A green forest is always appreciated.
And this is where we are.
Small and bright.
We had occasion to visit a golf club. Even potted flowers are fun to capture.
Well, I said it was a golf club.
It is the next day, 8/9/15, and we are back at the nature center.
Small, but beautiful. (Not the hand.)
Flowers can take on so many shapes and colors.
The visitor center is not shabby.
I’m looking over… Oh, wait! That’s a different kind.
I like the viewers better than the view.
Reaching for the end. We’re there!
