they moved the camera to a new building.

now it has the perfect view of where they're going to tear out the street and put the cap in. the bridge redo that's still visible is going to be where traffic is forced west away from the current outer roads

Any more recent pix of this area?

I'm headed home for Christmas/New Year. I may drive down to get some pix of my own.

Thx, warwickland. Cool update.

I'm looking forward to driving/walking around that area in a couple of weeks after some family ice skating time at Shaw Park.

i've never skated at shaw park, actually, but have been spending more time in clayton lately.

i'll probably hit the steinberg mid-century bar soon and (in an ill advised fashion) start an akwardly huge bonfire at one of the pits and go ice skating. i'll probably drink like 17 schlalflys, to boot.

Sounds like a good time with the Schlaflys.

Over the years, we've skated as a family at Steinberg, Shaw, the temporary rink downtown and StL Mills. Shaw is my favorite rink, by far. Although, the downtown rink provided a great backdrop.
