4/8/06 - Walk from Waldo to MO River - Part 4/7 (Gilham Park to Linwood)

On Saturday I plotted a 14-mile course and walked from Waldo to the Missouri River, snapping numerous pictures along the way.   (Lo-res to conserve memory, so the quality isn't the greatest.)


This 4th batch includes Gilham Park and Hyde Park as I approach Linwood.

Looking behind me, the tiny building at the upper left corner of the park sign is Pilgrim Chapel. I wanted to take a picture up close but there was a wedding going on and the bride and groom were on the front steps getting photographed.   For me to walk up and take a picture seemed tacky. ...
