That angle is spectacular. KC looks a lot like San Fran's skyline in this picture.

that picture has always bothered me...I can't figure it out...is the skyline flipped or something? What direction is it facing? It would seem SE but it doesn't make sense in my head.

It is flipped

The picture is flipped. The angled part of City Center Square in real life faces the Northwest. I think that the picture was taken from one of the residential towers in Northwest downtown facing SE, and somewhere down the line it got flipped.
