Here's a list of Web cams around the KC metro area:

Crown Center: http://www.crowncenter.com/crown-2555.html (Click on the "Web camera" link.)

Various areas: http://www.kctv.com/Global/category.asp ... v=1Pua1i6y

Plaza: http://www.kshb.com/Global/category.asp ... v=0RXr6ufm

Downtown: http://www.thekansascitychannel.com/?z=hdr (Click on the "KMBC Live Camera" link.)

Excelsior Springs: http://www.epsi.net/eainc/wincam_live_camera_page.htm

Anybody know of any others? We'll have a lot more when the KC Scout cams go up next year.

KC Scout is getting a cam? Cool...they should put the Liberty Memorial cameras on the web too.

Fox4 also has one at http://www.wdaftv4.com

The Scout statue isn't getting a cam. "Kansas City Scout" is the name of the new traffic monitoring and information service that's being deployed around the metro. See www.kcscout.net .

Bummer. I was looking forward to having more cams to choose from.

Overland Park and a lot of other suburbs have extensive networks of cams that they use for traffic planning, but as far as I know, there's no way to access them from outside of their private LANs.

There used to be a cam in the parking lot of the Missouri State Office Building downtown, but the link has been gone for several months. Anybody know if it's still around?
