Downtown Photoset: Lunch Time

Post by Demosthenes »

People say our streets are dead. Get out there around lunch time on a nice weather day though, and you will see plenty of people out on these streets. Hopefully someday we will get to the point where this kind of pedestrian traffic will be found outside of peak hours on a consistent basis.

Anyway, a little day time KC:

This is cheating a bit. One of the first nice 70d days after a long cold winter will bring out anyone.

Nah, cheating is what I'm going to do when I present this photoset on SSP. I will not even mention that it's lunch time on that site haha. I'm going to make it seem like this is just normal activity.

But for real even though the weather is nice, this is pretty average street activity for a weekday lunch time. There were more people sitting in parks and squares for sure (which I didn't really capture in my photos), but as for walking around it was pretty normal.
