My first attempt at timelapse photography, so be nice.  hahahah.  Also - pls bare with the fact that I only have a trial version of the sw.

nicely done.  what was the range of time, an hour, several hours?

Thank You!  Was last night from 9:30PM to just after midnight (yeah big Friday night, ha) 15-30 second exposures, 179 shots.

That's really cool.  I watched it three times!  The music is perfect for dancing elevator lights.  Very cool.

Ira - I have a Canon 7D and was using the kit lens (18-135)

rotating restaurants! why do the elevator shafts light up like that?

because it's long exposure.  i noticed that too and was wondering how long he exposed each shot.

Exposure times were between 15-30 seconds, with most  being 15 seconds.  The lit elevators and their movement was what I was trying to capture and the main inspiration for this, but was very happy and surprised to also pick up the rotation of the restaurant with the long exposures.  Zooming in on the individual shots you can also see people in some of the windows.
