because it's long exposure. i noticed that too and was wondering how long he exposed each shot.

Exposure times were between 15-30 seconds, with most being 15 seconds. The lit elevators and their movement was what I was trying to capture and the main inspiration for this, but was very happy and surprised to also pick up the rotation of the restaurant with the long exposures.
