Taken out front of my house Tuesday night after the snow had stopped. Doesn't really look like the 4-8 inches they were predicting. I'm about as far north as you can live within the KCMO city limits and this was it. The yellow/orange tint is from the street lamp, that is how it actually looked outside with the glow of the street lamp.

Nice Xmas tree I like the colors! Is that yours, or neighbors?

He already said that the orange color was intentional, and reflects what he really saw. Snow isn't always "white"; it depends on the light around it.
Re: Snowpocolypse
I wanted it to appear as you see it with the naked eye, I wasn't looking to correct the orange tint the street light was casting.taxi wrote: To you, SWF (no offense intended) and the news media, I have 2 words: white balance.

Its the neighbor right across the street. They must have got new lights because this is the first year I've seen the all blue. With their light curtains closed it makes a very artistic blue glow as you can see in the picture.mykem wrote: Nice Xmas tree I like the colors! Is that yours, or neighbors?
