I think O'Dowd's has Strongbow on tap. I think Harling's has Magner's, which is a better cider, if you go in for that sort of thing. They might only have Woodchuck, though.

I love beer. It's one of the pillars of civilization, and as varied as the human imagination. I will go get one now.
Hey Bahua, how are you gettng Lagunitas back there? I didn't think it made it beyond Norcal and Southern Oregon. It's my favorite regional around here, and almost time for Hairy Eyeball too!
We have a local guy here that started Caldera, which was just distributed on Tap around these parts, til he picked up a  canning line recently. Now in Stores...

Nope, I've only had it in three places: Toronado, in SFCA(highly recommended), Henry's in Portland(also recommended, but not as much), and at the Extreme Beer Fest in Boston.

I was in Austin in August, and of course, consulted beerfly. It was listed as the best place to get a pint in town, and they weren't kidding. The atmosphere is fantastic, too. I wish we could have spent the whole time there, but my butthead friend needed to circulate and pay some cover charges. I recommend Lovejoy's Taproom, too.

I'm gonna throw down my favorite beer bars(not breweries), too. It's unfortunate that the draught selection, especially of American beers, is as limited as it is in Missouri and Kansas. Most states don't seem to have this problem, though.

Anam Cara (Brookline, MA)
Toronado (San Francisco, CA)
The Ginger Man (Austin, TX)
The Map Room (Chicago, IL)
The Back Booth (Orlando, FL)
Sunset Grill (Allston/Boston, MA)
La Cave du Vin (Cleveland, OH)
William's (Minneapolis, MN)
The Blind Pig (Champaign, IL)
The Beer Sellar (Nashville, TN)
Bukowski's (Boston, MA)
Henry's (Portland, OR)
Hopleaf (Chicago, IL)

Honorable Mention:
Barley's (Shawnee, KS)
Barney's Beanery (Los Angeles, CA)
Charlie Hooper's (Kansas City, MO)
Flying Saucer (Everywhere)
Yard House (Everywhere)

i just picked up a sixer of Bell's Third Coast Ale.  the aroma isn't very good (kind of skunky like Beck's or Heineken) but it is crisp and refreshing - just like the weather these days.  i highly recommend it.

Not necessarily every year, they release one called Third Coast Old Ale. It's Third Coast Ale aged two years. It's umimaginably awesome. Unfairly awesome. Ejaculatoriily awesome.

Got a call this  morning from a grocery client of mine. I'm getting some more Bouilevard irish in. Want some?

As I had run out of my "early" stash, I was there in a matter of minutes.  8) 8)

It's definitely in Illinois. I'm from Peoria, and whenever I visit, I always pay a visit to Friar Tuck Beverage, and pick up at least one product of Dogfish Head.

It is *not* available in MO, though I heard rumblings at a meeting at Blvd Brewery last night that it was in the works.

Third Coast Old Ale is available right now at the liquor store down the street from me, and if it's in como that means it's probably at Gomer's or whatever.  i didn't get it because a 6-pack was $14.99...but i wish i had, because i got the Bell's Pale Ale instead and it isn't very good at all.  i actually find it to be BAD.

Wow! $14.99!? I have to stop talking that beer up. It's driving up the prices!

I remember getting it for the first time for $7.99, only three or four years ago.

this store is pretty pricey though.  it's always $1-3 more than other places.  bell's two-hearted is like $9.49 there....but i keep going back because they have a pretty awesome beer selection, and it's 1/2 mile from me.  :)

I had some sam adams white ale at unos on the plaza last night, and I thought it had a butterscotch taste to it. my bartender friend said she thought something was wrong with my palette.

I had a 20oz of stella artois before that, and it tasted wrong...stale or something.
