Just grabbed some takeout from here. I think they've been open about 2 weeks and I've been wanting to hit it up.
If you love burgers, then definitely hit this joint up. Fuggin' delicious burgers. I believe they ground the beef on sight, so it's really fresh. Everything is made to order including the fries which are hand cut. They are basically a clone of Arthur Bryant fries. They also do Sweet Potato Fries , Onion Rings, Fried Mushrooms.
They try and do a special burger...last week they had an artichoke and mushroom burger. Not sure about the regularity on it though.
Menu is very simple..
Burgers
Fries
Veggie Burger
Eggplant Sandwich
Tuna & Chicken Salad
Fish Sandwich
BLT
Chicken Fingers
Shakes, Malts and Coffee Drinks.
Space is pretty simple and small...about 6 small booths and a small counter.
They are open 11am to 7pm and said they will start delivery soon.
Check em out!

Is that the old Max's space?
If it doesn't have street-level retail, it's an abortion.

Max's is gone? Egads! Not only did it have a great name, but the food was pretty good too.

Boy, it's a good thing I work in the main campus Cleveland Chiropractic clinic instead of the Brookside location (right across the street from this place) anymore, or I'd have to roll to work!

Is the Brookside location still open? If not, are there any plans for it?Chiro75 wrote: Boy, it's a good thing I work in the main campus Cleveland Chiropractic clinic instead of the Brookside location (right across the street from this place) anymore, or I'd have to roll to work!

New diner on 63rd
The new operation — in the former Max’s Autodiner at 634 E. 63rd St. — offers hamburgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, coffee drinks, shakes and malts. Some of the hamburger specials of the day — the Texas burger with two slices of pepperjack cheese, onion rings, bacon and barbecue sauce, for example — have been so popular they’ve made it to the regular menu.
Whorton tries to make everything to order using fresh, never frozen, products.
