They can just move to Plaza Speedway Shops because it's has lots of Spaces available. More is coming besides Pizza Ranch.

I don't think the Legends is pushing out restaurants to focus on being an outlet mall, I think they're encouraging retailers to become outlets. I'd say they're quite happy with the restaurant situation.

From the article:
“Sales were great. But the mall has been going in a different direction, changing to an outlet mall. They want more retail, less restaurants,” said Steve Schussler, founder of Schussler Creative, the operating partner of Backfire. “Most outlet malls are not heavily ‘restauranted’ or have restaurants at all. You might have a food court.”

the food quality to selection to price to service level lines up very well.

one thing they get right is they seem expensive for a pizza buffet but the price includes drinks, at many buffets they're extra. their kids prices are also very competitive

could change in the future, but right now it's a chain worth having nearby

On Plaza Speedway latest Site Plan the Shoe Store and former Best Buy space are the only ones that have sold that haven't opened yet so Pizza Ranch's is on hold and Independence is the next one to open.

No.

They are simply overpriced. Their name might as well be "Chicken Ranch", as they have very little to do with pizza. Their website is grossly misleading. They usually have 3 or 4 pizzas on the buffet, a salad bar, and a chicken bar. Not enough for the ridiculous prices they charge. Sub-par would be putting things nicely. You're MUCH better off finding an actual pizza restaurant that offers buffets on the side..as some Pizza Huts do and some Godfathers do.

Each side would win some, lose some in sale of T-Bones’ ballpark to Unified Government
Both sides lose and both sides gain in the pending $8 million public bailout of the Kansas City T-Bones that comes up for a public hearing Thursday...

Secondly, local governments would see $178,000 less revenue each and every year when the stadium becomes public property and comes off the tax rolls.

“The bottom line is we were fearful the team was going to leave and we’d have an empty stadium,” said Mike Taylor, a spokesman for the Unified Government....

Wife and I met our son at 5 Guys in VW before the soccer final a couple of weeks ago. Got there at 12:30 and the whole area was a madhouse. Sure, there were many for the game but there was a lot of shopping going on at the same time.
We joked with him about how he manages to get into places he shouldn't, like team dressing rooms, airport lounges, and so on and asked if he was planning on getting on to the field or other places if Sporting won. He said security is too tight now. Guess what? He didn't make the field but he did participate in the locker room celebrations.

NorthPoint plans apartments in Lee’s Summit and Village West
NorthPoint Development is planning two apartment projects totaling more than 600 units on opposite sides of the metro, one in Lee’s Summit, the other Village West in western Wyandotte County.

The Riverside-based firm has emerged since its start in 2008 to become a local development powerhouse. It recently completed a 306-unit apartment development in Village West and is now launching a second, $35 million project nearby that will add another 306 apartments to the area.
