Tea and juice bar, fitness shop coming to Leawood’s Park Place
T. Loft plans to open in early 2014, taking a 1,295-square-foot space at 5225 W. 116th Place, between Bar Method and Pinot’s Palette....

Fitness-Culture will open its first location on Nov. 29th, taking a space at 11553 Ash St., next to Alysa Rene Boutique....

In other Park Place news, Bella Bridesmaid, which specializes in “stylish, wearable and chic bridesmaid dresses,” plans an early December opening.

Romanelli Sun Galleria, a new concept and store from the owners of Romanelli Optix, plans to open in January.

“801 Fish’s menu appeals more to the national business traveler,” Lynch said. “So our St. Louis location is doing very well. We need to be in cities where there is upscale lodging and convention business. That’s where the action is in the upscale-restaurant business these days.”

Is their St. Louis location also located in the hinterlands?

That location in Leawood is quite distant from the upscale lodging it appears to need.

AMC adding 125 jobs to Park Place. They're leasing 36,315 sq. ft. in a building adjacent to their headquarters for the expansion.

If there was ever a company made for downtown, it is this one. I really hated seeing them leave DT. If they stay in the metro, I think they will be back someday.
