Kohl's is one retail place i never understood and think it's all psychological based on the sales they run but usually all the clothes are jacked up to begin with so a lot of time you are paying the normal prices even though you are getting it "on sale"

Agree. And now just about every mid-level retailer like Macy's and Gap are all following suit. The failed experiment at JCP a decade ago doomed selling items at everyday low prices rather than relying on promotions.

With all that land, I can't figure out why the 8 stories have to be right across from the housing development. They could easily move it to the massive parking lot which is close to 87th st.

More subsidized quasi urban suburban development. But please tell me more about how the City of KCMO is giving handouts to developers in the urban core...
