We had a visitor at work today talking about a pie shop in the Westwood/Fairway area near Lulu's Noodles. She didn't know the name but said it was run by a little old lady and the pies were purely from scratch (crust, fillings, etc.). Additionally big cookies for like $.50 or something crazy. Anyway, I looked up on Google Maps and didn't see it - maybe they haven't updated new construction or maybe it is just that new?
Anyone know about this place? There is a Village Inn in Mission but...I am a firm believer that there can never be too many baked good opportunities.

Ok we figured it out. It's actually in Mission and called Dips and Sips.

Chocolatier Christopher Elbow has opened his new Fairway Creamery concept in the building previously occupied by Pizza 51. The new sweets shop at 60th Street and Mission Road offers coffee, donuts and ice cream — and was doing a brisk business over Memorial Day weekend. (per Shawnee Mission Post)
