Anyone have some pics and info on the Strawberry Hill area?

Well fellow forumers I just met a nice gal off an Internet site who I hope to head out to see (hopefully in early Sept). She lives in the Stwawberry Hill neighborhood anyway I kind have an idea of the area but its been quite awhile since I've been through there and I greatly appreciate info from you all. Thanks.

Strawberry Hill was home to a bunch of Croatian meat packers and their families back in the day...

In this first photo, Strawberry Hill is in the upper right part of this photo.

Thanks KCforumer, from the pics I believe its very close to downtown KC Kansas and maybe about 4 or 5 miles from downtown KC MO. Anyway from your pics I think I know right where that neighborhood is.

Downtown KCMO is 1-2 miles from downtown KCK. It looks farther than it really is in that photo.

Strawberry Hill has never done much for me, but here is a pic from that new subdision on the hill overlooking I-670.

I lived in Strawberry Hill for one year back in '87...the old people are great to talk with...especially when they tell stories about the neighborhood in it's hay-day. I'm surprised you didn't put up pics of the Eastern European designed churches and the Croatian Cultural Museum.
