There's construction fences up at 32nd and N. Oak, which had signs for a medical park up for years

No the The Gardens senior living complex is building another phase there. Will be a 4 story 66 bedroom building if I recall. Also getting ready to start construction on remaining row homes across the street (Swift).

The purpose changed fairly recently then because it was originally part of the retail component of the area per the county.

This is the legal name
NORTHGATE VILLAGE RETAIL CENTER 3RD PLAT LT 2
This is the owner
NORTHGATE SENIORS PHASE 4, LP

2nd plat, lot 2 is the restaurant, 3rd plat lot 1 is owned by NKC

The senior housing was all parceled under this legal name
NORTHGATE VILLAGE SENIOR HOUSING

The data is fairly current, one change I know went in place in the last 3 months shows on the Clay County parcel viewer. So it's hard to say when they changed the purpose without digging through NKC council minutes

Yep, it's in the NKC council minutes under the TIF section on the NKC side. I live in the City View apartments next door to the Gardens so I dug through the minutes the other night to see what they were building. I don't recall exact dates, but the land was transferred from the retail portion early 2015 because they couldn't find retail tenants to the Gardens that is 100% full with 88 on the waiting list.

I noticed that tonight. They slapped the Phase 2 building up pretty fast so I'd figure this one will move fast as well.

Looks like there's conduit in the ground now.

They're on the second story of the first building. I expect this to go in quick.

The first part of the building is topped out at four stories and the roof is going on.
