I think N & I are going to see Eagle Eye on Wednesday or Thursday night.  If anyone feels like joining us for a 7:30 show either day, let me know which one works best for you.  www.screenland.com/movie-eagle.html

Just an FYI:  "W." will be the next movie Armour Screenland is showing.  I've really been looking forward to seeing this, so if you want to join us for this one, please speak up and state which time or times will suit you best. www.screenland.com/movie-w.html

Oooh!  Good news!  Thanks for posting it.  I love that theatre, and soon there'll be reason to love it even more.

Historic Screenland Armour Needs our Help
At my favorite neighborhood movie house, Screenland Armour, two new projectors with new sound systems are going to cost nearly $110,000. The owner-operators, Adam Roberts and Brent Miller, are doing all they can to keep the gold man rolling back the curtains at the historic 1928 theater in North Kansas City.

This is one of my favorite theaters. Hope they are able to make the switch to digital.

Historic Screenland Armour Movie Theatre is Expanding!
We are incredibly excited to announce that Screenland Armour will be expanding into the former flower shop next door! We will be adding two additional screens, a larger lobby and more amenities! As one of Kansas City's only remaining historic theatres, we are thrilled to give our customers more options when it comes to the number of movies we can show at any given time. In addition to more movies and screens, you will be able to relax in a larger lobby area with more food and drink options!

The expansion does come at the high cost of approximately $250k for new projectors, sound systems, theatre build out, seats and labor. So we are asking for your support to help offset some of these large costs.
