Not really. The storefronts near Target are hit and miss, but they shuffle tenants around for remodeling so it's hard to tell what's unleased and what's not. Last I was out there, the old Waldenbooks and Gap spaces are vacant, and there was still a toy train set up in the old Woolworth's space.

I'm pretty sure that toy train exhibit is permanent. Hallowen City opened a seasonal store across the way. Ulta will open up permanently next to it. Gary Gribble moved to a large new space, and it looks like they're doing something with its former space. I think that's the only vacancy up there right now.

Ulta is on the Ward Parkway side south of TJ, the Ulta sign next to Halloween store is just an advertisement.

It seems like there is still some "infill" space available in several areas. Around the old food court at the bottom of the AMC escalator seems to be usable space.

Yes, the model railroad club is a permanent, year-round fixture. I'm a member of the club and we've been in that spot 2 years or so now. The club has non-profit status, so the mall gets a tax writeoff for leasing to us. The space we're in doesn't have an external loading dock and is too large to lease out to a normal inside-only outfit, so it's really a perfect spot for us. We're open to the public Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5:00, but members can go and run any time.

Toy Train? Somebody's been reading TKC too much. :D

Be honest......
I have a huge collection of old Hot Wheels and they are definitely NOT toys. (we are both kidding ourselves)

As much as any part of the enclosed area. Target has an entrance from inside on the north end, and the theater produces traffic. There's an escalator up from the lower level, too.

"sighed up" seems an appropriate term.

because if you could get a Nordstrom or a Ross, which one would you sigh over?

I would go to both and could be next to Target or in Dillards former space.

Doesn't seem like the best tenant choice given there are already TJ MAXX and Homegoods stores there.

This is one of the best examples of the redevelopment of an older mall.

I hope there's some plan to improve bus/pedestrian access on the west side of the mall. There are no sidewalks at all on the south side of the bus stop.
