New leases at The Pavilion at Hartman's Heritage have driven the 224,000-square-foot retail center's occupancy to 88 percent.
Carl LaSala of LaSala-Sonnenberg Commercial Realty Co. said his firm negotiated two leases in the past month at the center, which is located at Interstate 70 and Little Blue Parkway in Independence. Aspen Athletic Clubs took 29,000 square feet, and Half Price Books, Records, Magazines Inc. leased 8,000 square feet.
In addition, LaSala-Sonnenberg negotiated a lease in April that resulted in a new 3,200-square foot Soccer Master equipment and apparel store. And Louie Skizas, a retail broker with Rubenstein Real Estate LLC, recently negotiated the sale of a pad site at the center formerly occupied by an O'Charley's restaurant. It was purchased for a new Saint's Pub & Patio location.
"When we took the listing to lease (at The Pavilion at Hartman's Heritage) in 2011, it was about 50 percent leased," LaSala said. "It will be 88 percent leased when the tenant finish is completed on the recently signed leases."
