Ronald McDonald House

Discuss items in the urban core outside of Downtown as described above. Everything in the core including the east side (18th & Vine area), Northeast, Plaza, Westport, Brookside, Valentine, Waldo, 39th street, & the entire midtown area.

This is a much needed building, with a constant waiting list for families needing a place to stay while their children are in the hospital.  Children's Mercy took in 30 kids from New Orleans and there were no places available for those families either.

I took a couple of photos of the new Ronald McDonald House annex that was built on the east side of Cherry south of 25th Street on the site of the demolished apartment buildings.
