Re: Pendleton Heights rocks!
Might have it on the market? Hmmmm. (see that lightbulb glowing over my head yet?)
I have friends who're currently looking for a home in either PH or Scarritt Renaissance. When you know for sure whether you'll be selling or not, pm me off list so I can pass the details along to them. They looked at 210 Olive over the weekend and seemed pretty interested in it, but since you say there are more that'll be coming on the market soon, maybe something else will grab them...? I hope not, bc i'd like them for neighbors! Seriously though, they're such great people, whichever block find the home of their dreams on will make me happy for them.
On a related note, I sure wish more agents would use the PH neighborhood association website* to give double exposure to their listings. It's not expensive and it would make house hunting in this area a lot easier. Do you think you'll do that if/when you sell your place?

Edited to add: yeah, I didn't see a new listing for it either, so I walked down there just to make sure the owners didn't change their mind...but sure enough, there's a Reece & Nichols sign in the yard.

Re: Pendleton Heights rocks!
Just sent you a PM. I will have it on the market at some point, I just don't want to sell. The gf and I have decided to move in together and she has a house in OPKS near her clients. She wants to stay by them so I will be selling.
Re: Pendleton Heights rocks!
I think I've peeked inside 210 Olive. It's very nice.
Re: Pendleton Heights rocks!
Word of advice: Conduct a full background check and ask for references of any contractor who comes to you by way of another's recommendation to do work on your home.

Using this forum to slander and impune a contractors character is low to say the least!I was going to post a question as to why there are so many houses forsale on garfield ...oh wait...i just did that!

Weak housing market. It's in all the papers and all over the Internet.tjokskalle wrote: why there are so many houses forsale on garfield

Use a dictionary and proofread next time. This was a good example for the grammar thread.

Don't vent on me for the lack of intelligence given in the post(s) you made.Sorry bout them mispelled werds ...
Accusations of slander (or libel) should not be made freely or with impunity when unsubstantiated--especially when lobbed from behind the cloak of anonymity. The statement deserved to be impugned. It was easier to point out the salient mistakes.

bullshit!
if you got a guy fucking you over, post it and let everyone else know. we're family here. if the guy don't like it let him take you to court and watch him get his ass waxed. if it's personal and the guy is cool than it will come out that your the assclown instead of him.
this is what is wrong with america. folks to scared to say publicly that they got screwed and are afraid to name names.
wtf is unsubstantiated. they said the guy fucked them over, took the money and ran.
you're as weak as your post.

This still has no place on the forum and you are an asshole for doing so;for all i know you could be trying to get revenge from some personal spat.
Its just bad taste dickhead.

^^^^Let me guess, either 3 speed or Beermo is quoted?
10 of your posts--
Beermo's unintelligable retort is not worth responding too. That is more ironic.
There is a lot of great housing in PH.....
3 speed, if you read for comprehension you would have understood I wasn't as concerned about typos as I was with baseless accusations. I read all3 speed wrote: irony?

I just want to thank you all for representing Pendleton Heights in a positive light.

lighten up. to make a spelling error in the midst of calling somebody out for making spelling errors is always funny.

it's actually very simple to comprehend: when you want to embarrass somebody re: their grammar/spelling/misuse of a word, you should probably be able to spell. or at least use the spell check - it's down and to the right from the smileys. no big deal. happens on message boards all the time and it always makes me chuckle.phna wrote: You still don't comprehend and probably never will.
you provided me that chuckle today, and for that i thank you. the self-important blowhardery has been an added bonus.
