BMA Building Garage to be redeveloped into apartments

Discuss items in the urban core outside of Downtown as described above. Everything in the core including the east side (18th & Vine area), Northeast, Plaza, Westport, Brookside, Valentine, Waldo, 39th street, & the entire midtown area.

BMA Building Garage to be redeveloped into apartments

1 Park Place developers have sold the parking garage next to their building and new owner plans to put up 5 story apartment complex.

That is weird. That location is the most god forsaken area in town.

While I agree with you personally, I think there is definitely a market for those who want to be urban adjacent, but not actually urban. This is a place where someone who lives in a mindless apartment complex in Lenexa would consider moving to. And good for them. Its an entry point to urban living at least.

It will change. Look at how much different the core of downtown is when you add people.

Getting a reason to add amenities to Penn Valley Park can only help downtown.
