Main St. Infill/Redevelopments through Midtown

An old Office Max building at 3732 Main will be renovated/repurposed as the headquarters for the Kansas City Young Audiences. The organization has never had its own permanent space to call home until now. Hopefully we see more of this sort of thing if/when KC Streetcar continues down to UMKC along Main.

Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre moving to old Warwick Theatre near 39th/Main. Doubling the seating space from old location. So nice to see this finally put to theatre use again.

Somewhat old news but Midwest Cycle moved near Westport/Main next to Thriftway, cell phone shop opened in old space. Key shop next door moved to 39th/Broadway. I heard Key shop moved due to higher rent, which if the case is further indication Westport/Main is moving forward.
