Are they keeping the kids in or keeping the Westport riff-raff out?

Oh my. I noticed the new fence along Mill Street last week, but I didn't know what it was for.

Some razor wire will liven that right up.
I like how the fence slightly obscures the signs as well.

I attempted to cut thru this place on the way to sun fresh, you know, like any regular elementary school, it was Friday night, no kiddos in site, just breeze by....ha! Encounter so many damn heavy duty gates and walls, what is this? Leavenworth? I wonder if this is a decent school either.

As far as I know Alta Vista is moving or already moved the High School into the former Douglas Elementary.
