Agreed. Don't see how a thousand people are seeing a movie at the same time. Anyone can see how loitering people (whether black or white) can harm a business especially if said loiterers are not spending money and coming in and asking for free water.KCPowercat wrote: They go there because a friend of a friend is going there. Really has little to do with theatres in most cases.
Teens lack things to do....this isn't a new problem.

Re: Plaza riot?
Lets say an entertainment district curfew goes into effect and kcmo writes tickets to parents.....does this help? Do they pay the tickets and actually stop dropping their kids off unsupervised ? Is there a better punishment than a money based fine?

Re: Plaza riot?
these kids need to find something to do, rather then mill around and be JERKS, i love the youth, and am a big advocate, but when kids dont use ingenunity or the inverse, take whats been GIVEN, say a ride down the plaza from idiotic friends/idiotic parents, with the sole purpose to cause melee, i mean, im a 25 year old, i don't go to the plaza, why, becasue not 1 of the stores interests me, so these kids, need to leave the crate n barrel alone, form a comic book club or rap studio in their neighborhood, rather then mill around a place where they have no business goin unless they wanna buy a pierogie home kit,ok
movies, sorry if ya wanna see a movie, i guess cinemark on the plaza is fine, as is legends in kck, tahts wat these places are for, spending that dollar
not entertaining kids.....> theres plenty more to kc and kc kansas than convoluted shopping districts

Didn't really know where to put this but there was a shooting in Bricktown OKC after the Thunder/Lakers game. I really hope nothing like this happens at the plaza or P&L during the all star festivities
