The old Thriftway near Westport/Main has some construction activity. Is it just prepping to lease or is there a tenant signed up?

Last I had hear some sort of grocery store was moving in however the building was in worse shape than they thought.

I heard the same - some pseudo-health food store with a lot of local products, from the last I heard.

No idea why anyone thinks retail or restaurant would work in that location with no storefront.

But there’s so much parking!

They banked on the pop-up meetings providing enough foot-traffic and I'm surprised it didn't work. Sandwiches were quality.

The missed opportunity was not tearing the strip mall down for a larger mixed-use development surrounded with streetfront retail.
