That's the old Late Show gallery, any idea what the plan is? Did it change owners?

I think Matt Abbot bought it. The land is owned Crossroads East LLC, which has an address where Abbott has his office.

Novel Restaurant Opening New Chapter in East Crossroads
Novel KC restaurant will be packing up the house soon–literally–and moving from the Westside neighborhood to the East Crossroads.

After operating five years in a cozy house at 815 W. 17t St., the fine-dining restaurant, it’s actually about “Novel American cuisine” not books, is relocating to 1927 McGee St. and plans to open there April 6. Its last day in the house is March 24.

Will be interesting to see if Xroads can support this significant influx of bars/restaurants in the last year. Is bar/restaurant growth faster than non-event downtown population growth? Maybe not... Just seems that with other downtown amenities desired, more bars/restaurants aren't as needed and maybe even a risky investment at this point depending on product/location.

Tallgrass Technologies, currently based in Lenexa, is asking for an abatement for an office at 215 E 18th St - employing 53 people (I'm unsure if this company would be relocating from Lenexa, or opening a second office).

Here is the info:

Would need clawbacks for sure.

Be nice to know if they were new or relocated jobs up front.

And Parlor KC, he said, is poised to be a destination that attracts patrons from throughout Kansas City.

"We want it to be the living room of the Crossroads."
Looks cool, but pick a room and stick with it, dammit!

Their current office is HORRIBLE. I interviewed there once four years ago and it was bad then.
