Barrier-protected is the most desirable facility, regardless of curb cuts. Cars are driving
in the bike right now because it is only buffered by paint.
It doesn't even need to be fully protected to start, just harder to drive in.
For longer sections put up a barrier.
For smaller section put a fixed metal or concrete post up at both sides of every driveway and you've made it a lot harder to drive in because cars would need to weave in and out of the lane.
Won't stop someone from parking in the lane but it's about not letting perfect be the enemy of better
