Was on streetcar yesterday and heard someone point out 'modern German dining' sign. Was smart for them to put up better signage as it's a pretty subtle looking storefront, not clearly a restaurant. Also noticed Anton's put up a big 'STEAKS' sign on side of building. Good moves to draw attention from streetcar.

Was working from various coffeeshops downtown yesterday and was impressed with the lively downtown street vibe, not just along streetcar line... everywhere. And all day long, though morning was lighter.

That antons STEAK sign has been up for awhile and it's super tacky.

I don't think it's tacky for Xroads' mashup vibe... it's blatant but not tacky. I've been gone all winter so just now saw it.
