Ok, it's not possible. the train is too high
in the rendering we can see tables, then the wall, then the train
the bottom of the doors are barely above ground yet they show in the photo
https://twitter.com/flyingember/status/ ... 3251246080
this photo shows the wall is taller than the bottom of the doors, there's even the drop of the curb to account for.
they clearly raised the train up to show more of it

Walked by today and noticed a number of windows have been removed, presumably for demolition removal?

Current plans call for the tower’s lowest floors to include a Commerce Bank facility, a CVS store, a Spectrum Station Early Learning Center and Lincoln Property Co. offices. Park University will occupy the third and fourth floors, and office suites will be offered on the fifth and sixth floors.
Above that, the design calls for 68 studio apartments, 127 one-bedroom units, 100 two-bedroom units and nine penthouses on the top floor. The tower also is to include 13 furnished units.

Commerce Bank will not renew its lease for the safety deposit vault in the sub-basement of its eponymous tower. They will only keep the Walnut Street HQ cash vault behind the tellers. No customer vaults downtown anymore at any Commerce location. (They closed the beautiful HQ customer vault after Commerce Tower opened in the 1960s). Not sure if any other vault survives downtown (Maybe UMB?)
Ours is one of the old original 1906 boxes, although my family opened it after the consolidation at Commerce Tower. The tower elevators will only re-open for a few weeks, so those of you with heavy deposits will want to coordinate removal to the Plaza vault at 47th and Wyandotte. Commerce will facilitate with a Brink's car if requested (I too was surprised at their assent to this).

One more thing...
The interior boxes are not going to be re-used, so you don't need to paw through your goods when moving. Just pull the interior box and move the entire thing to the Plaza (or Brookside, although that branch has limited vault space while the Ward Parkway branch is re-built).
Customers with the walk-in vault "roomettes" are going to have a challenge however, as I don't think there were interior compartments within them. I think the armored cars are meant for those customers.

They do say its leasing at 10 apartments per/week. With first units not opening till January, that's not a bad ratio and imagine it will be 100% occupancy before they get to the 65% open units mark.

Really a shame that they are touting low rent but bundling the price of parking into the price. Make it cheaper an unbundle the parking for those who don't want to store a car!
